The RaiChoudhary's household began with the two then they became three then two again.
Now its just Pia and her father Amit.

Pia had her mother till she was about two.She then died of tubercolosis in Gumerlee.Well atleast she lived long enough to see her husbands discovery? the discovery and naming of Gumerlee is another story which ill tell you guys later. =P.

Well Amit Raichoudhary born of reputable parents in bengal proper.They were zamindars. Amit was still very downn to earth. He had the thirst for knowledge beyond books. Literally. He had always wanted to see Atlantis.He found his own later on of course.He was educated in the States returned to India , married the girl his father wanted him to(secretly his choice too) and returned to the States and along with his two other friends founded/discovered Gumerlee.
Pia his daughter is his world, his strengh, his weakness, his pride and a friend post Rajoshee's death.
Rajoshee's death changed everything. All their plans,dreams,worries seemed to die with her. But never did he let Pia realise that.
Pia never felt her mothers absence,not only because of Amit but also the fact the she had two mothers- Lilly and Nuesa.
Pia had a happy life,she was the natures daughter, Gumerlee was her world.Literally.With scientists such as Smith,Morgan and her father Amit the island was not only technically bound but also technically sound.
Yes Cell phones,Computers,Internet,Play stations.....they had it all and more...but undercover.
