Roast lamb for Amit.

“Arnie can you drop off the roast lamb at Amit’s place? He really liked it yesterday.”, Mrs. Reels called out from the kitchen. Arnie froze for a moment. He would definitely meet Pia there. His soul smiled at him , his body was a little shaky. “I’ll be down in minute “, he hollered back. Quickly gelled his hair, put on a blue striped shirt and jeans. He sprayed his favorite deodorant and let out a heavy breathe. Ran out of the house and THEN realized why he was going in the first place and ran back inside. With a box of roast lamb he headed southwards. The weather seems to be in sync with his mood. The humidity made him queasy; it was lightly drizzling ; he had butterflies in his stomach. He looked west he saw the sea is all its calm. He cleared his throat repeatedly. “ Hi, I am Mogre’s cousin , Arnie no…Arnicholas”, he kept wondering what exactly to say. “does she even know me? “, he wondered. He din’t know when he reached but he did and then didn’t know what to do. He stood there gripped by a sudden fear you feel when you are going to see your crush and its gets worse if you’re in love. Pia pulled her curtain and let the sun shine into her room on the second floor. He had just taken a bath with the bath salts that Lilly had given her. She had made it specially for Pia. She was sitting on her window sill and drying her hair when Pakire was shrieking near the other window. “Paks you just have to destroy the tranquility of the surrounding don’t you!?Gosh!”, said Pia as she went to pat Pakire on his head. She sat next to Pakire and looked out. She saw Arnie standing there with a yellow box. He looked up at the noise and to his surprise there was no one there. Next minute the door opened. “hey! Arnie what are you doing here? it’s a very pleasant surprise to see you outside your “cave” for once!”, she said in a good humor and smiled. He stood there motionless for a bit. “Right, yea well mom asked me to drop this off for your dad”, and saying this he handed her the box and turned around and walked off. “Wow. How rude is he?”, said Pia and shut the door. Arnie walked quiet some distance and then stopped. He let a HUGE sigh of relief. She KNOWS me. Wow. His day was made. He decided to sit on the rocks and let this incident sink in for a while.
